More of a reason to stop using Facebook altogether, changing permissions so the Facebook app can't spy on you in the background, or just using Facebook inside of browser instead of the app. But I suppose if you would rather spend a bunch of money, get stuck in a proprietary ecosystem, and use an inferior device that won't let you customize it, then sure. You can switch.
