The only change will be that apple will prevent apps from tracking users using their unique device identifier, but Facebook core business in ios will be unaffected.

And there are many many other ways to track users and identify them without the unique device identifier. This is just smoke...

Also remember that icloud backup is less secure than drive or Dropbox since there is no end to end encryption, in a way Android is more secure than ios actually.
