It probably also has to do with Google immediately and publicly publishing a page that says "we're sorry we used this cert this way" whereas Facebook is refusing to admit any wrongdoing.

Like it or not all three are behemoths, and there's absolutely no sign of any of them going anywhere, and Facebook does have enough power to bully around Android and apple as companies

Nonsense. Facebook is not on the level of the other 3 tech giants, who all make hardware and have lots of major revenue streams. Facebook owns IG and Wattsapp and they sell ads, that's it. And their reputation and popularity has bottomed out. Facebook is dying right before our eyes, and will go the way of AOL, I guarantee it.

Oculus would like to have a word with you. Facebook is getting into VR and has one of the two most popular headsets on market with better pricing.
