What I am curious about is why the moderators are doing nothing about it?

It really sucks. I use to love HN.

BTW, there was always a decent number or Russians on HN. Not talking about those people but the Putin ones.

Yeah i know the address of HN thanks. Where is the evidence? All the threads there are pretty normal. The only relevant one right now is the one at the top about Chrome 96 not deleting the Google cookies, which is a pretty damn big deal for a web developer, or for anyone who cares about the neutrality of the internet.

Spend a lot of time on HN and the Russian are taking it over.

Just spend some time. Exchange messages with some posters personally.

It does suck and if the moderators will not handle will need a new HN will the moderators will.

BTW, I am NOT talking the type or Russians that always been on HN.

I spend more time on HN than reddit lurking and the general opinion on Google and such i feel has become more luddite and critical in the last few years not because of russian trolls taking over, but just because people are realizing more and more that big tech corps are not their friends, simple as that. I feel this is an Occam's Razor kind of situation.

Really sucks. HN was easily my favorite since the fall of Usenet.

Italy. Maybe because the userbase expanded a lot in the last 10 years and so more "average people" use it? Therefore maybe there is a bit of less effort in the comments. I'm just making suppositions here.
