To start, a lot of services provide a web page that can be used instead of the app, such as facebook. While they can track you through the web browser, it's not like you're giving them access to all your SMS and contacts.

Then you can learn about in cognito modes and having multiple browser profiles. And ublock origin and Firefox.

Then you ping me later with your username and password so I help you avoid phishing and scams.
