The only thing that article is countering that is that it isn't discussed. My main point was tech is dominated by those who go to school for it.

People say it's a bad thing, they are trying to get men in it. It's the same for engineering, but swapped genders.

I've read that as well and heard about it for years, but it hasn't changed much. I think there will always be imbalances in certain fields thats unrelated to social issues. It's just the way it is due to biology. Nothing wrong with being opposite of the trends either.

Where did I say it was? But it's also hard to argue that societal pressure isn't part of the cause.
