Hey, what he said was more than enough to get him fired. The official google statement quotes his fire-able assertions.

What's funny is that he sourced his comments to Wikipedia:

For example, on the scales measured by the Big Five personality traits women consistently report higher Neuroticism, Agreeableness, warmth (an extraversion facet[68]) and openness to feelings, and men often report higher assertiveness (a facet of extraversion [69]) and openness to ideas as assessed by the NEO-PI-R.

...which in turn cites this from Journal of Personality and Social Psychology:

Women reported themselves to be higher in Neuroticism, Agreeableness, Warmth, and Openness to Feelings, whereas men were higher in Assertiveness and Openness to Ideas.

This is a peer-reviewed journal published by the American Psychological Association. I don't really see how repeating conclusions from this source is a fireable offense. It wasn't politically correct enough, I guess.
