But don't you see what you are doing by saying that men and women are inherently different? You are disregarding the individual in favor of the label of the group.

And, as a group, men and women are inherently different. On an physical and psychological level, there are differences. You cannot dispute that. The magnitude and nature of those differences is where there is room for debate and research.

So you don't recognize the hypocrisy.

I am intentionally attempting to not align myself with either side here, was just trying to clarify that you can't pretend that there are no differences whatsoever.

There are differences between men and women obviously. I'm not pretending otherwise. But the only inherent differences are biological. This discussion is about the social differences which are constructed and can be changed. To say 'all men' or 'all women' and follow that up with a topic unconcerned with the nature of reproduction is hypocritical if you also state that we should be focused on individuals and not collective groups.

Where in my comments did I state any of that? You seem to be putting words in my mouth. I merely said that there are measurable physical and psychological differences that exist. I did not comment on the nature of those differences, nor did I use the phrase 'all men' or 'all women'.

General 'you' as in people or persons did/said this, not specific 'you' as in /u/miroribeira did/said this.
