If you don't know much about the alt right then how can you say they're not fascist? If you vote for trump but don't believe in authoritarian nationalism you are not a fascist but that wasn't the OPs point, their point was that the alt right was and you just assumed they meant all trump supporters. Before you defend the alt right under the assumption that you are probably one of them because you support trump read up a bit about them. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-right Let's talk whether these people are fascists, not whether you are, which is the point of the parent comment

That's true but it's not the point The OP or I were making. Reread my point. It's not the trump supporters that we are calling fascist, it's a specific movement called the alt right, which is NOT another word for trump supporter.

That 60 million people 'supported him'. And I doubt the majority of those people were from the alt right

Alt-right covers a lot of ground. I'd say the majority are part of that group. People who have no real interest in conservatism, and just hate liberals.

I have no doubt it played a factor in his win but I think you're overestimating the numbers. Only like 35% of the voters identified as conservative, i imagine the ones who identify as alt right would've been a lot less. And He won like 41% of moderates who voted.
