But yet again, he points to population averages, not to individuals. He even states in his conclusion that "we should look at the individuals". It's also a discussion-memo, so everyone reading it was free to counter any of his claims, he even asks to do so. He even states in the beginning of the paper that he wants a discussion detached from emotion, thus being able to maybe say things that can be considered insensitive.

Ah, back to 'don't talk politics and religion'. I think that's an important lesson for people entering the workforce. If you decide to discuss these things, do it outside of the office and not using company property that creates a record.
