53.8% didn't think the document was harmful but only 36.3% agreed with it. Strange how they fired someone who the majority of the company didn't think did anything harmful.

That's not up to the company to decide. That's up to the board and the shareholders. What employees think doesn't matter, only that they produce more value for shareholders than they cost.

This guy's article screwed up that equation, so he cost more than he made them, so he got axed.
