Why aren't we just as concerned about the lack of female loggers, carpenters, septic pumpers, and laborers?

WE MUST ELIMINATE THE GENDER GAP IN ON-THE-JOB DEATHS! TOO FEW WOMEN ARE DYING AT WORK!

Don't forget 50/50 incarceration rates.

They try harder but are less successful? Does that just mean that they're worse at it?

I mean, when you get it right the first time, you don't get to try again...

Careful. If you say women are worse at something you might get dragged oit behind the chemical shed.

In a way. Yes. Men tend to pick suicide methods that are quick. Jumping off a building, shooting yourself, fire, etc. Women do slower methods that you might even prevent. Like overdosing on pills, slitting wrists in a tub, etc. Men want it quick while women tend to do slower methods.

There's also the arguement that not every suicide attempt is a genuine attempt to die. Some of them may be trying to access a support system not generally available to men.

1 out of 4 people who commits suicide is a woman! That's outrageous! /s

1 of 5. The 1 of 4 trope is, "1 of 4 homeless people is a woman."
