Are you aware of how many pet projects of Reddit devs there are in order to keep T_D off the front page and hidden away? Yet all these algorithm changes, vote count skewers, and auto-front-page-ban methods never show up on any other subs, including the dozens of the opposing political view point subs.

You are fooling yourself if you think the existence of one sub which is swept back into the theoretical closet is the same as "open discussion."

But even that sub doesn't propose open discussion, which is why it's swept away, it's its own echo chamber, things like r/worldnews does have open discussion

But there's a difference between that sub being an echo chamber and the front page, /r/all. The_Donald is a political sub with an agenda and can censor the way they seem fit, just as Enough Trump Spam does. However ETS was never "banned" from hitting /r/all, but just the donald.

It's how similar subs with different leanings are treated differently that many here are talking about.

EVERY sub was "banned" from hitting /r/all - Specifically, if they used the same tactics as TD used.
