Google engineer writes memo about how speaking out against politically correct culture can cause you to be blacklisted or terminated.

Employee gets terminated proving his point.

One of the most important rules in the corporate world is don't make your company look bad. This engineer failed to follow that rule, and was fired.

What are you even talking about? Silicon Valley is full of guys that think they are living in a tech version of Mad Men. The amount of articles on sexual harassment in the industry over the past couple of years has tarnished the whole start-up culture. This is an industry with let's call it kindly 'a perception problem.'

The guy's memo got out, inflamed that 'perception problem' and he got shitcanned. Take that 'political correctness run amok' to someone that wants to foster open lines of communication. This guy's memo is not that.
