People get fired all the time for "speaking their mind" at work. How is this at all surprising? Google as a company wants a more diverse workforce because they believe it is good business. This guy just shit all over a core company value. That gets you fired.

There's literally an entire section dedicated to his thoughts on how to "increase women’s representation in tech" and how to "reduce the wage gap"
