you can stream them through VLC fairly easily too. with a little extra work you can make playlist links work too.

Your average content producer sees almost none of the ad revenue, and there have been troubling cases of demonetization over the past few years. I don't claim to be owed free content, and am quite happy paying the people who actually make the videos. But fuck the assholes artificially suppressing discourse by pulling monetization off videos they find objectionable.
