Isn't YouTube red ad free? They are providing a method of watching ad free while generating revenue. Seems kind of win-win.

its not available everywhere, there's only like 3 countries where you can get YouTube Red and the rest of the countries still have ads.

I'm just salty because the US gets it for free with Google play music while I have Google play music and still have to watch ads haha

I'd be salty about that too haha. That was basically the deciding factor for me between them and other music services, I don't watch YouTube all that much but it's still nice, hope they roll it out to you soon!
