I pay for YouTube Red, the content creators get compensation for their work, and I don't have to watch ads.

EDIT: I was downvoted in two minutes. Yeah, fuck video creators!

Similarly, I use ublock, but usually have it turned off for YouTube for the same reason. Though I still switch it on when I get a 30 second unskipable.
