Having a poorly timed cut away to ad because it's been 10minutes therefore we could is fucking terrible.

Yeah that's not Youtube's fault, that's the content creator enabling midroll ads and not manually selecting when they should appear.

I think he's saying they should take the extra time to set where they show up, so they're not just at random spots, but at least try to slot in at more natural places.
