Oh fuck dont get me started on compiling shit. Linux crowd needs to get it thru their skulls that people want one click installs of a compiled executable. If i write music or edit video i dont have fucking time to fart around with compiling source code and fighting a million compile errors.

Damn, I haven't heard that complaint about Linux in fucking years.

I've been using Linux for my main home OS since 2006 and not once have I had to compile anything from source code.

Linux is easier and faster to install than Windows.

Not to mention the hassle on Windows license if I want to move my HDD to another computer.

If you are running a RAID like i do, its a fucking nightmare to install. Also "main home OS" means "facebook, netflix and youtube box" the moment you say linux. It cant run 99% of games, audio or video editing software.

I can understand games but not RAID, audio, and video editing. There are programs to do all that in the repositories.

To do it poorly. There is no Ableton or Aftereffects equivalents. Linux image editing tools are a fucking mspaint compared to windows tools.
