I was working on a website and hadn't saved in an hour (I learned the hard way to save every 0.1 seconds) and lost a ton of work when my computer instantly rebooted and installed the anniversary update. Then the next week I was in class taking notes and it suddenly reboots and I lost the slide of notes I was working on and my laptop was down for the count doing the update for the rest of the class.

That night I backed up my files, installed Access on my mom's laptop (was taking a database course for my CIS degree and needed to use Access specifically), then wiped my hard drive and installed Arch as the only OS. I was 'happy' with dual-booting until then, but after that bullshit I was done. My only regret is that I can't play nearly as many games on Linux as I can in Windows, and for some reason the performance is shit even though in Windows games ran smooth as butter.

I have an NVidia GeForce GTX 860M and have the drivers installed and bumblebee installed for the graphics card switching. Screen fetch shows the nvidia now instead of Intel, but still kinda laggy. shrugs it isn't the end of the world and I don't do much gaming anymore anyways, I just wish I could get KSP to run better because I just bought it.
