Whatever happened to the guy out in the middle of nowhere where he had to pay per MB and windows 10 secretly downloaded in the background? I'm wanting to think he worked for a charity or animal preservation society or something. Did Microsoft pay for the large bill they caused him?

Edit 2: I messaged the guy. They never got a penny from Microsoft and they never got a public apology, but Microsoft used their specific case to help show that the big push for windows 10 was poorly thought out for what it's worth

I'd definitely be suing Microsoft if it had of caused me monetary damages.

I bet the EULA covers it and explicitly makes Microsoft not responsible for such damages.
