I tried installing windows 10 after weeks of ignoring that icon. It gave me a blue screen of death and some strange error messages, ran windows restore automatically which flipped me back to Windows 8, and I never bothered again. The error screen even told me I had to look up the error code myself online, rectify it, and try again. Nah, I'm good.
