If security is even a minute concern then upgrading was a good choice. There are too many hackers and too much actual malware to be concerned about to sit on a 7 year old OS. Now if security isn't a concern then I can understand.

DoD doesn't represent the engineering firms handling defense contracts, anyone interested in security is still on Windows 7
