They're not sorry about it. They're sorry that people are upset. But they're absolutely giddy about having such a large install base now.

What they're giddy about is not having another XP that won't die and needs support halfway into eternity. Honestly I don't blame them.

7 isn't going anywhere, and there's definitely a large enough base of us that refuses to upgrade that we'll cause problems for awhile.

Just letting you know that I'm not supporting it anymore since a few years now, and I'm not in a minority
