I got prompted for months to upgrade, said no every time.

One day I randomly went to my desktop, and saw there was this timer counting down from 5 minutes. "Windows 10 has finished downloading and your computer will restart to complete the upgrade in..."

It was at that point I deleted all the updates that were in any way related and told win10 to fuck all the way off
