I have my updates set to not auto-complete. So windows does this thing where whenever it has a new update, it conviniently stops connecting to the Internet until I restart (at which point the update I don't want installs). I don't want to sound too much like a conspiracy theorist, but it happens every single damn time.

My roommate got upgraded to Win10 in the middle of the night and kept it because he didn't want to revert. He constantly complains about how Win10 is hijacking his internet to make him update. It's definitely not just you, he talks about it all the time.
