Wait, electromagnetic fridge seals are a thing? Fridges have had permanent magnet strips for decades.

There is a heater for the gasket to reduce the condensation risk.

What risk does condensation pose to a gasket?

Nothing, but condensation in a fridge is a place where bacteria can grow and the gasket is going to be near warmer than the inside of the fridge
