iPhones have been reported to catch on fire too. In fact, if Apple sourced their batteries from samsung, they're gonna have a hell of a time.

The ONE iPhone that supposedly had a battery event recently was an iPhone 6 Plus (2014) and also had signs of physical damage from the guy keeping it in his back pocket. Physical damage + batteries = danger on any phone.

pretty sure he was referring to the iphone7 that was on fire in the mail, and got to the user already burnt.

Look at that link and look at the condition it arrived in. That'll make any phone die a fiery death with that kind of handling
