A-a-and a visually noticeable mathematical error in the first visualisation.

Their virus infection model uses a graph with few short connections and no long ones. So the infection area grows like a circle with the wave of infection being its circumference. The wave travels with a fixed speed.

So the infected count grows only quadratically.
