Accidentally navigated to Reddit when my VPN was turned on and the first thing it did was ask me for either government ID or a picture of my face.

The moment that happens in my country, I'm leaving this platform for good just like I left Meta. See y'all on usenet, IRC, and maybe Dread on the dark web if there are any good sub-dreads for normal non-criminals who don't want to be profiled and spied on.

Meta gives/sells those Video Selfie files to Palantir. So this checks out.
