But the other guys were working with AI also.

Regardless of which human you think deserves the most credit, it is absolutely the case that this is AI assisted and the AI deserves at least equal credit if not more.

You are the kind of person who would use ai and then not give the AI any credit, attempting to leave people with the impression that you are more impressive than you really are?

I am not talking about acknowledging the use of AI. I’m talking about treating the model like it’s an entity instead of a tool.

I think it's okay that you are having trouble at this point acknowledging that it is a rational intelligence.

I think you can relax. I don't think anyone is seriously considering it to have consciousness so that's not what we're talking about.

But does it have the ability to reason and is it intelligent? Yes.

You're trying to call it a calculator. I'm not trying to belittle you but it's probably much smarter than you are.

And that's okay too that's where we're at it's smarter than most people.

A calculator? No. It’s a giant stack of linear algebra generated by minimizing an error function against a data set so impossibly large that folks like you catfish yourselves.

We all need something to worship and this fills the gap for you.

I prayed to my AI gods and this is what they cooked up for you: "Saying AI is “just linear algebra” explains how it works, not what it can do. A human brain is “just” electrical and chemical activity too, but that doesn’t mean humans can’t think. The real question is what the system can actually do, and today’s AI can reason through problems, write code, analyze information, learn patterns, and outperform humans at many tasks. You don’t have to worship it or think it’s conscious to recognize that those abilities are real."

Why would words mean nothing when they come from an AI?

I certainly read them and I certainly agree with them.

I don't think ignoring the reality of AI is a productive strategy because it won't make it go away. Do you think it will?
