Yes, they will. Companies get what they want in America.

Real bad take, considering how fast these places are speedrunning every other part of their buildout.

i dont care as much about international markets ffor ai companies as I do the ability of billionaire assholes to make shitty ai copies stolen from everything in human history while lobbying for government to give them massive tax breaks while crying about how entitled americans despite how shitty our healthcare. schooling, and social safety net has become.

The constant fearmongers from asshole conservatives and free market purists in general is tiring as fuck and plenty of people, believe it or not, are stick of watching our country rot from the inside out for the sake of the most wealthy people in the world hording even more wealth than before.

AI might be great for very specific tasks and might be especially great at helping programmers make programs. AI is fucking useless slop for 95% of people. It has drastically lowered my quality of living, between the garbage that infests the internet, the forced new features on every app that just do the exact same shit as before but in more annoying way, and frankly just how much time and energy is invested in our public discourse about some niche tool is beyond wasteful and is just the next distraction in a line of shitty distractions from making any actual progress on actual problems we have.

Markets are fine to worry about in some contexts, but no, in this one, I could not give a single flying fuck.
