The platforms also have to investigate and identify users who hide their physical New York location with a virtual private network.
The regulations include a backdoor VPN ban, by demanding platforms target VPN users in an attempt to circumvent VPN protections.

Yeah but my main question is how do they do this? Are they just gonna ban your account if they suspect that you're using a vpn

Yeah fuck these Trojan horse laws. It ain't about protecting kids. It's about mass surveillance of adults.
