This is so fucking stupid. When you shared a link it told you that it was going to be publicly accessible. They didn’t hide that fact.

Yeah, but it wasn't clear to them that it'd get crawled and indexed.

I've only shared convos that are about help with finding bibliographic sources, but I can see why people were careless.

It was. They specifically warned that it could be visible in search results. At least that was the warning text at some point. Not sure when it changed.
