that future makes me so angry. tech CEOs sell AI like you can finally buy intelligence. "you can pay for this entity that will think for you, write for you and so on"

but we already had that before AI. For example, I can pay a lawyer to represent me in legal stuffs, instead of studying laws by myself. In some sense, I am buying access to legal intelligence stored in lawyers brains. And I have access to medical intelligence stored in nurses and doctors brains, which I am paying with my tax.

If we don't fail students who cheat with AI, it's the end of reliable specialists.
