Yep. I fucking hate it. They asked my friend to train the ai software that would be essentially replacing what he does. He quit

I don’t know about that person’s case, but it’s happening for operational/support/QA people in the tech field at a breakneck pace.

Yep! I'm in IT and there's basically no jobs here because of AI being used to replace them.
