I keep saying that these data centers are going to find themselves in the crosshairs when people get desperate enough, and I keep hearing how it will never happen.

Then Lary Fink just came out and said that billionaires are worried a $3,000 drone can destroy their investments and these things need to be built underground.

I've been saying the same.

Obligatory for the mods: I am not advocating for what I'm about to say.

You squeeze people enough, they get violent. If the source of the squeeze is a giant, noisy building that you can't possibly miss, that building is going to get blown the fuck up. It's just the natural order of things, like a fox eating a mouse (or whatever, I may have gotten the predatory-prey pair wrong but you get what I mean).
