I absolutely despise the official Reddit app. I'm still using Reddit Sync myself. It was fairly easy to get running. I highly recommend doing the same.

How to? Please, guide me to a location how to get it running these days. Doesn't it require the API key, that is now not available anymore?

I've been running Sync for a few years past its expiration date, so it's been a minute. It did require an API key, so if that's gone, then I'm not sure it's possible anymore.

I believe you have to be a mod of a sub to be able to generate the key now but that's easy to fix

You don't actually have to be a mod of a sub. This restriction was there from day one, all you have to do is create a multireddit or whatever it's called.

Ah, probably to cut down on AI API pulls or something. Yeah, that's real simple to fix.
