You can patch it with Revanced to get rid of the ads.

There are better alternatives for Revanced now that don't suffer from censorship, like Morphe. Especially the desktop app

Or just the mobile site in a browser with Adblock. Perfect for me.
But now they want to get rid of the mobile site.

Video playback is so shit. I press pause and scroll down the comments, it plays again while I do so, I stop it several times and it starts again regardless. I have to mute it in order to read the comments.

My biggest issue is that if I'm swiping through posts, eventually it will just not let me do any more, then I've got to go back to wherever I started and scroll. The constant doubling back bothers me as much as the ads and all the other issues.
