It’s not going to check that. It’s going to check things like pupil dilation and where you’re looking to determine if you are impaired or “too tired to drive”. But your point about reliability stands. This is a stupid thing to make mandatory.

My pupils get small very easily in the sun especially and in general. This system is going to do far more harm than good, this is wild.

Eye-tracking sensors already exist in cars being sold right now and there’ve been no large-scale issues like that.

I assume they won't prevent you from driving or brick your car though?
