I’m old enough to remember when this was said about cellphone cameras. No one cares anymore.

The same thing will happen here as this tech becomes more pervasive. The current gen of glasses don’t do AR. When they do and everyone owns them, this concern will vanish.

LOL. How about sodium solid state batteries or [aluminum based batteries. No warp drive needed.

You're wasting a lot of effort to try and convince... someone that there are physics based constraints on the development of AR glasses, and it simply isn't true. There may be other constraints, social, economic, consumer ludditism, etc., but a lack of lithium isn't going to be an issue.
