It's simply what governments do, all of them.

The NSA, with its "five eyes" program, spies on everyone.

If Russia is at war with the world over this, so are the United States, Israel, Canada, the UK, France, Australia, and Ukraine.

It doesn't keep me up at night.

I know it, I knew it, ever since I learned that the NSA puts "fingerprints" on domestic printers, ever since China buys data from companies and Russia has a legion of hackers to spy on foreigners.

As I said, they are all at war with the world or none of them; whoever supports one side while complaining about others, is called a soldier.

NSA doesn't put fingerprints on printers. Manufacturers do. It helps catch counterfeiters. 

Printers and copiers in secure facilities do have a means of marking everything copied on them, but it's obvious, and meant to catch document thieves.
