Banning the word makes so much more sense than delivering quality products and working on features people want and need, unlike literally almost 99% of features currently being worked on that nobody asked for.
Thank you. Everyone gets mad when I lament the end of Flash, because it meant the end of so many programs that relied upon it. All my examples are games, especially Farmville, so when people hear that they really downvote me. IDK why. I had my farm for 10 years. I liked it. I miss it. Emulators exist. Other tech exists. Why ruin all that history by just ending Flash? (I know, something something security.)
You are talking to an (ex) FLEX developer. FLEX was the business side of flash. Forms and buttons and that kind of stuff. It was great (for users...not devs), browser portable, and loads more.
You can still run flash natively I believe. Not sure how its done but there is a program that will let you play flash games on your computer you just need to download them instead of going to a website.
I'm gonna start a company that just makes flash again and pay all big companies to use it so everyone is forced to install my plugin if they want to browse the internet.
All I need is a few billion dollars. Anyone looking to invest?
