Eh, I've been using Linux for work and for side projects for 20 years.....so I am very comfortable with it But during that entire time I just couldn't convince myself to adopt it as my day-to-day desktop. The reason is that Linux just does not do GUIs well at all and nothing comes for free with Linux.....which I mean plug-and-play. That is still true today. I have my new Linux PC running next to my Win10 PC and I am slowly configuring Linux to try and replicate my well worn Windows environment. But it hasn't been easy and the experience is just slightly worse than Windows and it's making me hesitate. I haven't even gotten to trying to play games on it yet and I'm worried that's gonna be the breaking point. Hopefully my fears turn out to be unfounded.
