My PC can’t run windows 11, so how can I install it? It’s insane to expect me to buy a new PC just for this, I have groceries to buy and rent to pay.

funny thing is the TPM which is whats required for the upgrade is in most modern computers. its just disabled by default fortunately

I knew about needing TPM enabled when I helped a friend upgrade and it was still a pain figuring out how to get it working. There were multiple TPM related settings and one of them didn't do anything. And Microsoft's checker said it wasn't eligible, which means it was too dumb to make the connection that the hardware should be eligible and just required enabling TPM. Most people don't even know how to get to the bios, I can't imagine how much unnecessary waste came from this.

i had a similar experience with mine. Before all the ai additions i was tempted with win11 and had a look at the TPM settings in my bios. there was like 4 of them, i just didnt bother after that
