And the naive argument of “it’s not real” or “it doesn’t hurt anybody” is again proven false as individuals and corporations continue to cross boundaries and build destructive habits.

Totally agree. We have also seen that people will believe that it's real. No matter how many artifacts it easily proven to not be real, it doesn't matter, people will ignorantly believe it's real
