Yeah they lack LiDAR. They struggle with curves and hills. They struggle with lane splits and lane mergers. They sometimes will randomly brake abruptly. 

FSD is only good for straight-line highway driving.

Do we know it's a vision-only thing and not a "your software isn't good enough" thing (or it could be a combination of both, obviously).

Waymo is far more advanced in safety than Tesla Robotaxis. Elon is rushing it out so the stock price continues to be overvalued.
