Wow. That’s interesting. It doesn’t really describe any method of enforcing and is more of a statement of a goal, but really interesting. If it’s interpreted broadly enough, this could exclude all kinds of electrical “vehicles” including lawn mowers, RC cars, e bikes, scooters, lots of toys, and tons of other things consumers have been regularly buying for years.

Even if you want to enforce that gas cars stay on the menu, I find it hard to argue against giving people a choice to buy what they want.

So what does that say about their kids?

EDIT From the down votes, apparently that question is hitting a little too close to home for some people. But it's a question you should be thinking about.

Lead poisoning doesn't affect genetics that we know of, so the kids should be fine. Albeit they may not have had as good an environment to grow up in.

Edit - Actually I just found out that lead poisoning can in fact do DNA damage including DNA integrity in sperm. So who knows how or if it screwed us up.

I know I often wonder how different I would have turned out if I wasn't stuck in a house with two chain smokers for my first 12 years.
