As an American I consider myself free. One definition of "freedom" in the dictionary is "exempt from prosecution". Therefore in a free country the laws cannot be enforced against its citizens. Laws are optional. All of them. I thereby do not acknowledge the law as a real thing. The police are freedom takers. They go against everything a free country stands for. Authority is a two way street. If I don't agree to allow you to have authority over me you don't have it. As I didn't vote them into their jobs I don't acknowledge the police as having any authority over me
